Problem summary
**************************************************************** * USERS AFFECTED: * * All users of Rational Integration Tester * **************************************************************** * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: * * As part of the changes made in upgrading from GH Tester to * * Rational Integration Tester the version of Java used by the * * product was changed. This upgrade meant that most of the * * text entry UI elements in Tester no longer word-wrapped. * * Instead text would disappear off the end of the text box and * * could not be easily read by the user. * **************************************************************** * RECOMMENDATION: * * Updated to Rational Integration 8.0.1.1 or above. * ****************************************************************
Problem conclusion
In order to work around the underlying change to the Java UI control Rational Integration Tester now automatically adds a scroll bar to multi-line text entry panels. This means a user can easily scroll right to see the additional text.
