Error description

  • The mobile service database tables will not get created when
    dispatchers are organized under folders within Cognos
    Administration.  The following error is found in the mob.log
    file:?CM-REQ-4032 There are no objects in the location
    "/configuration/dispatcher[@name='http://hostname:9300/p2pd']/mo
    bileService"??Even
    if the tables are created manually, the mobile service is unable
    to locate the dispatcher(s) and throws the same error.
    

Local fix

  • Do not have dispatchers organized in folders in Cognos Administr
    ation.
