This Apar address following problems:
    1. An abend 0C4 in the controller started task can happen
during the REFRESH command when the HTTP tasks are not
       active.
    2. Message error EQQJ535E is issued during a variable
substitution if there are fields defined like the following :
       %%TBEGMTDA or ??TENDMTDA.
    3. Working with WS panel EQQWWSEP, an ISPF error occurs randomly

Problem conclusion

  • 1. The abend 0C4 has been fixed
    2. With this fix the behaviour for strings beginning
with %% or ?? will be conformed to that of the strings
beginning with &&, i.e. no variable substitution will be done
and the strings will be left as they are.
The documentation was changed in order to reflect
this change. A documentation change was done also for
variables that are after a SETVAR directive within a
       range of a NOSCAN directive
    3. The randomic ISPF error on EQQWWSEP panel has been fixed

FOLLOWING TWSZ DOCUMENTATION WILL BE CHANGED

CHAPTER: Planning and scheduling

PARAGRAPH: Ampersand, percent, and question mark variables

AFTER these sentences:

Any string that begins with && is not substituted.
This is because the double ampersand within JCL
is usually used to denote a temporary data set.
Any such strings are unaffected by the variable
substitution

Note that any string beginning with %% or ?? is not
substituted, as well, to keep consistency with
the && behavior and avoid delimiters incorrect utilization.

When these directives are in the range of a NOSCAN
directive, they are always acted upon even if there

ADD

Note that when the SETVAR directive is within the
NOSCAN range all variables in the same NOSCAN range,
following the SETVAR will be anyway substituted
