PM76788: RECTRACE IFCIDS REPORT FAILURE WITH DEFAULT LEVEL OPTION

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• If you specify SYSIN like:
  
  RECTRACE
  TRACE
  LEVEL(SHORT)
  
  or just
  
  RECTRACE
  TRACE
  
  Note: If no LEVEL value is specified, SHORT is assumed.
  
  You'll get no report for certain IFCIDs.  This is no correct
  behavior.  LEVEL(SHORT) indicates to show all IFCID counters
  except serviceability fields.
  
  OMPE default initialization for certain IFCIDs is not correct if
  LEVEL(SHORT) or no reporting level is specified for RECTRACE
  reports.
  
  All Record Trace "only" IFCIDs are affected by this change.
  

Local fix

• If no LEVEL value is specified SHORT is assumed.
  So, please, use the following RECTRACE command instead:
  
  RECTRACE  TRACE  LEVEL(LONG)
