Error description

  • Customer is customising the C:D CICS Interface 5.1.1 in
    twodifferent  CICS on the same node. They are trying to
    customise the usageof ESS with CICS API in both CICS1 and
    CICS2, but it doesn't work well. Theyactivated ESS with DGAQ249
    for one CICS, but for both at the same time itdoesn't work.
    Customer created different events for these CICS and when
    theytry to create and activate the second one they get this
    message:
    
    SCCS018I - Request could not be assigned to a subtask
    

Local fix

  • A temporary work around for this problem is use a USERID of 7
    or fewer characters until we can make a fix available.
