Error description

  • Abstract:

Attempts to run your application in the mobile browser simulator
in Chrome results in your vertical and horizontal scroll bars
    disappearing.

    Problem:

When you run your application in the mobile browser simulator in
Chrome, the horizontal and vertical scroll bars disappear. If
you change from 100% to "Fit to Window" you can see the scroll
bars. However, if you switch to another device, the scroll bars
will disappear again. Selecting 100% will allow them to appear
again. This pattern continues every time you select a new
    device.

    Local fix:

There is no known workaround at this time.

When using the mobile browser simulator on Chrome, in some
cases, the scroll bars may not be present event if the
    device content should be scrollable.

Problem conclusion

  • A fix was introduced to the mobile browser simulator to
explicitly control when the scroll bars are displayed,
instead of relying on the browser to make this decision.
