Error description
You are using IBM Rational System Architect 11.4.2 and you are making your SvcV-1 (Services View 1 Service Context Diagram), you tried copying over a bunch of symbols from your SV-1, including Performer (DM2) and System (DM2) symbols. The Performers copied over fine, but the Systems did not. They copy over as Description (DM2) symbols instead of System (DM2). Workarounds: Drag on System definitions from the Explorer or Draw Systems using Performer symbol on the SV-1.

Problem summary
**************************************************************** * USERS AFFECTED: * **************************************************************** * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: * **************************************************************** * RECOMMENDATION: * **************************************************************** Any symbol not of a type supported by the target diagram is replaced with a rectangle. The 'Transform Symbol' symbol context menu is then made available, but this does not support transformation to the symbol types on this diagram.
Problem conclusion
The underlying definition type is now checked and the first symbol type found that represents the same definition type is used to replace it.
Temporary fix
