PM74868: Crash creating meta model from DoDAF 2 diagrams

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• Creating a Metamodel diagram from DoDAF 2 diagrams leads to a
  crash.
  
  In a DoDAF 2 encyclopedia, do the following:
  1. Open up a Meta-Model Diagram
  2. Select the  Draw  menu
  3. Select  Create Meta Model  option
  4. Select  Create meta model by diagram type
  5. Select   SV-01 Systems Interface Description (DM2) or another
  DoDAF 2 diagram type
  a. SA will crash on other diagram selections as well
  6. Select  Network
  7. Select the  OK  Button
  
  Workaround:
  
  Create Meta Model diagrams from definitions instead of diagrams.

  Since DoDAF2 has symbols which can represent more than one
  definition, what was happening was that a relationship was
  being drawn which had no assigned endpoint and the code
  wasn't set up to deal with errors.
  

Problem conclusion

• The problem has been corrected. All definitions represented
  by symbols are now added to the diagram, and guard code on
  the error condition has been added.
