  According to the code, Reg2 contains the ULRETURNC:
  00F50020 (CSQ5_DB2_manager_not_active)
  .
  The change team reviewed the dump from the 5C6-00D40060 abend
  and they can see that it has occurred as DB2 is being shutdown
  at the same time as the CHIN. CSQMPCRT has been invoked for
  shared channel recovery processing and has tried to delete from
  DB2 the status entries for inbound shared channels. However,
  during this processing the connection to DB2 has been lost, and
  the state of the connection (DANC.DB2S.Status) set to 'pending
  stop' (DANC_DB2S_PENDSTOP). This results in CSQ5SCST returning
  CSQ5_DB2_MANAGER_NOT_ACTIVE, which results in the abend. In
  this situation CSQ5SCST should be returning
  CSQ5_DB2_UNAVAILABLE, in which case the abend will not occur.

  The abend has occurred as DB2 is being shutdown at the same time
  as the CHINIT. CSQMPCRT has been invoked for shared channel
  recovery processing to deal with channels that have a shared
  channel status entry.
  During this processing the connection to DB2 has been lost, and
  the state of the connection (DANC.DB2S.Status) is set to
  'pending stop' (DANC_DB2S_PENDSTOP). This results in CSQ5SCST
  returning CSQ5_DB2_MANAGER_NOT_ACTIVE, which results in the
  abend.
  

Problem conclusion

• The code in CSQ5SCST was changed to return CSQ5_DB2_UNAVAILABLE,
  preventing the abend from occurring.
