• Abend 0C4 in program CIUA160C seen intermittently running
  transaction CINT.

Problem summary

• ****************************************************************
  * USERS AFFECTED: All CICS IA Version 3.2 users.               *
  ****************************************************************
  * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: Value of "Total time PAUSED"            *
  *                      calculated in module CIUA160C           *
  *                      is negative. The FORMATTIME command     *
  *                      fails with INVREQ and one of the        *
  *                      following decimal commands fails        *
  *                      with 0C7.                               *

  * RECOMMENDATION: Apply the PTF and perform HOLD action.       *
  ****************************************************************
  It is HOURGLASS causing the problem. When the customer uses it
  they do not change the date from day to day just the time. So
  when CICS IA does a START/STOP over midnight it work calculates
  the total time started , paused etc. we can calculate negative
  values and we try and format them and we go splat.
  

Problem conclusion

• Code has been added to corect negative time interval to positive
  ( 0 hr. <= Time Interval < 24 hr.) and to issue message 2400
  if negative time interval occurs.
