PM73871: SWIFT MESSAGE FIELD INCORRECTLY TRUNCATED WHEN SAVING TEST

Error description

• This is an issue with SWIFT field "Single Customer Credit
  Transfer (MT103)\Headers\Application\Message Input Reference"
  
  The "Message Input Reference" field has a maximum width of 28
  characters. When the field editor's action type is "Value"
  (which is the default) then when the test is saved the field
  value is truncated to 28 characters. (This only becomes apparent
  in Test Factory if you save the test and then close and re-open
  the test.) Because the tag takes up more characters than the tag
  value this causes the value to send to be truncated; the value
  actually sent is then padded back up to 28 characters.
  
  For example if you enter the value
  090702%%SenderBIC%%AXXX1234501234567890 and save the test, and
  the value saved for the field then becomes
  090702%%SenderBIC%%AXXX12345012345.<br/><br/><br/>HISTORICAL

Local fix

• Because the problem only occurs when the action type is
  "Value" we change the action type to "Function" and specify a
  function which will return the value wish to send. Some examples
  might be:
