Environment: - Microsoft Windows - Product: RSA 8.5 (Importing models from Rose 7) Reproducible: Y Description of problem: During the import of a model from Rose into Rational Software Architect, the formatting of the documentation is not preserved and multiple spaces are trimmed down to one. This happens when 'Enable Rich Text Editor' option of the 'Modeling-?Text' preferences is checked. However, if the import is done without this option and the option is checked afterwards, the problem eventually occurs too. Steps to reproduce 1) Open the attached Rose Model with Rose 7. It?s an empty model with only documentation for the 'Logical View' 2) Check that documentation for 'Logical View' is the following line: 'Test a a a a a' 3) Import the model into Rational Software Architect 8.5 4) Notice that the documentation for the main model of the 'Logical View' now contains the text 'Test a a a a a'. Workaround No known workaround.
Multiple spaces are trimmed down to one in Documentation tab of the Properties view.
Added a new preference "Import Documentation as Rich text" in last page of Rose Import Wizard. On checking that, the spaces are converted to during import and the spaces are not trimmed when Documentation tab is opened.
