PM73679: GET ERRONEOUS MSG "RECORD UPDATED BY OTHER USER"

Obtain the fix for this APAR.

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• Receiving message:
  "Record Updated by other user" erroneously when no other user
  updated the file and indeed there were no other enqueues
  against the file.
  
  This will occur with a variable length file where the record is
  length less than the max, as the file record length variable is
  being set incorrectly.
