APAR status

• Closed as unreproducible.

Error description

• Receive msg: DSNT233I  -DB2I UNSUCCESSFUL BIND FOR PACKAGE =
  DB2x.FMN2PLPK.FMN2D2IO.
  
  FMN2D2I8 is used when connecting to DB2 V9 systems, FMN2D2IO  is
  used when connecting to DB2 V10 systems.  The latter module is
  prepared using the DB2 V10 SQL pre-compiler, hence the error
  when an attempt is made to bind it against a DB2 V9 system.
  
  The FMN2BN9K sample job should not include the the FMN2D2IO
  package.
  

Local fix

• Manually remove the FMN2D2IO package from the FMN2DI8 package.

  File Manager DB2 component Version 12 supports connection to
  DB2 version 9 and version 10 systems only.  The reported bind
  error does not occur when File Manager DB2 is bound against DB2
  systems (Version 8, 9 and 10) at the DB2 latest maintenance
  levels available December 2012.  The problem is DB2-related
  and resolved by the application of DB2 maintenance.
