PM73258: ANM FALLS IN ABEND S0C4 WHEN SSLTRC=0

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• Abend 0C4 occurs when SSLTRC=0 in monitor SYSIN and a SSL CFG
  contains SSLTRC=1;
  SSLDNCTL DCB address is not initialized in SSW area when
  SSLTRC=0 in SYSIN.
  Module L1ANMDNC assumes DCB address is valid and fails.
  

Local fix

• Workaround: Turn SSLTRC=1 in monitor SYSIN
  

Problem summary

• SYSDNCTL DCB address only  badly stored when SSLTRC was set to
  0 in Monitor SYSIN.
  SSL DN Control parse error.
  SYSLOG DDNAME was renamed to SYSPRT in ANM STC.
  

Problem conclusion

• SYSDNCTL DCB stored in any cases.
  Parse code fixed
  SYSLOG DDNAME BACK to original name.
  

Temporary fix

• Set SSLTRC=0 in MONITOR SYSIN to avoid SYSDNCTL DCB Error
