APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• Password field of the Admin Console does not have the
  autocomplete=off property.  This can be demonstrated on any
  TIP 2.x version.
  Load the admin console and choose view page source.  Review
  the properties for the password field

  If users select to autocomplete passwords from their browser,
  the browser will save administrative console login and
  password.
  

Problem conclusion

• There is a new custom property to set in the deployment
  manager or standalone server that will disable the
  autocomplete for the administrative console.
  adminconsole.password.autocompleteoff   true
  The server must be restarted after the change has been saved.
  
  For some browsers, if the logon/password has already been
  saved, it must be deleted before the fix will work.
  
  The fix for this APAR is
  currently targeted for inclusion in
  fix pack 6.1.0.47, 7.0.0.29, 8.0.0.6, 8.5.0.2.  Please refer to
  the Recommended Updates
