APAR status

  • Closed as new function.

Error description

  • Program Interface sample program SEQQSAMP(EQQPIFJV) as currently
supplied stops processing if the last variable defined in a new
table is DEPENDENT. The program source will be updated to add a
check for a NEWTABLE statement before terminating. This will
make it possible to create multiple tables in a single session
when one or more of the new tables ends with a DEPENDENT
    variable.

    ****************************************************************
When running EQQPIFJV to define more Variable Tables at one
time, any ADDTABLE statement following a preceeding table
definion might fail if the last variable defined in the
previous table is a Dependent variable. The ADDTABLE statement
is ignored and the EQQPIFJV processing stops.

Problem conclusion

Temporary fix

Comments

  • The problem only occurs when the code to handle the definition
of a dependent variable is invoked and the next statement to
be processed is a following ADDTABLE.
ADDTABLE was not included among the valid statements.
