PM72760: WHEN USING A FIXED-STEP START TIME, THE TIME WILL INTERMITTENTLY SHOW A VALUE LESS THAN THE SPECIFIED TIME

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• Customer has a batch job that has a fixed-step start time value
  specified in the Programmer Name Field.  Sometimes when the job
  is run, the time that is in the output will be less than the
  specified time.
  An example is this:  //HGF2300
  The "F" says this is a fixed-step start time specification (see
  page 22 in the Usage and Installation Guide).
  This is the time parameter in the Programmer Name Field of the
  Job card, and it should cause a time of 23:00:00 to display in
  the output.  Occasionally when the job is run, the time will
  show something like this:
  AGGVR01I LINKAGE=SVC LOCAL DATE=1999-01-23, TIME=22:59:59:34.
  This is in the output of the AGGBVRFY job.  The time is less
  than the time that was specified.
