Error description
Client scans PL/I code but instead of normal completion, they receive a DMH1817E message indicating there are multiple entry points for a particular module, and the Run Unit for that module is not resolved.
Local fix
none known
Problem summary
References to alternate Entry points were not being resolved within the Compile unit before searching for resolution outside the Compile unit, thereby leading to the existence of multiple Entry points per Site. The issue is more pronounced for PL/I and Assembler programs.
Problem conclusion
Subroutine entry point resolution has been changed. The Container, Application and Site of the calling Program are now taken into consideration when resolving the location of the called Program.
Temporary fix
