    ****************************************************************
After creating and building the common files for a Worklight
project, the user will be able to create separate environments
and will be able to run these environments (iOS,
Android,Blackberry, AIR, etc). Upon viewing the generated
environments on their respective devices, if
any UTF-8 characters were used in any of the common HTML files
that all environments share, then it will appear as expected
in all environments excluding the AIR environment. To the
user, any UTF-8 characters viewed in Adobe AIR will be seen as
gibberish (unexpected characters that do not match the
original characters entered before the build process).

Problem conclusion

  • The correct encodings for the HTML files are now used.

The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in
    fixpack 5.0.5.0.
