Error description
When you attempt to use the Search option from the context menu in the IBM Rational ClearCase Explorer, you may receive incorrect results on your second search. To reproduce the behavior: 1. Open ClearCase Explorer 2. Right click on a directory within a vob 3. Select Search from the context menu 4. Search for files. This will return filea, fileb, filec, and others. 5. Close Search 6. Right click on another directory immediately 7. Select Search 8. Search for files in the second directory. You will see the files from your original search: filea, fileb, filec, and others. WORKAROUND: If you wait for a minute before doing a search in the second directory, you will receive the correct results.
