Error description

While WebSphere Process Server version 6.2.0.3 trying to
establish a connection with WebSphere Application Server version
6.1.0.37, a failure occurred and log showing these errors:

The activity service uses ThreadLocal storage to store state for
inbound and outbound requests.  When the Web container custom
property enableInProcessConnections is set to true Web service
requests may be processed on the same thread as the caller.  In
the case where a web services request is made to a provider that
in turn makes a subsequent Web service request and the activity
service is being used, the activity service's internal state can
become corrupted.  This leads to ActivityPendingExceptions.

Problem conclusion

The activity service request handlers were modified to store
thread-based internal state in a stack.

The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in
fix pack 7.0.0.27, 8.0.0.6, and 8.5.0.2.  Please refer to the
