Problem summary
**************************************************************** * USERS AFFECTED: All users of WebSphere MQ for z/OS Version 7 * * Release 1 Modification 0. * **************************************************************** * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: Chinit may loop in CSQXADPM attempting * * to repeatedly resize a buffer that has * * grown during data conversion. Message * * CSQX068I may also be repeatedly issued. * **************************************************************** * RECOMMENDATION: * **************************************************************** During data conversion when the chinit determines that a buffer is too small to contain the output from a converted message, the buffer may be resized. Due to a failure to clear a variable it is possible that under some circumstances the resizing process will enter a loop.
Problem conclusion
Processing has been amended to ensure that the resize logic will not loop incorrectly. 100Y CSQXADPM
