PM69891: DFSILTA0 NO LONGER REPORTS ABENDED TRANSACTIONS

Obtain the fix for this APAR.

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• In IMS version 9, DFSILTA0 reported abended transactions
  with a PT (processing type) value of "A", and a PGM NAME value
  of "*ABENDED".
  However, IMS version 10 DFSILTA0 no longer identifies abended
  transactions.
  ..
  v9 DFSILTA0 also reported some transactions with PT / pgm name =
  "B *RESTART".  v10 DFSILTA0 no longer does this.
  ..
  Whatever solution is developed needs to be documented,
  perhaps in chapter 31 of System Administration Guide.
  

Local fix

• IMS Performance Analyser continues to identify abended
  transactions, and could be used as an alternative to DFSILTA0.
