Error description

  • FMN0POPT options FMEDITOR, VSCHGAUTO, and VSSAVE are not
initially populated in 'Set Processing Options'.  FMN0POPT
options TRACEDSN and TRACELIM not documented in FM
Customization Guide.  FM/DB2 options SHOWPQTY, SHOWSQTY, and
SHOWUNIT are not initially populated in 'Set Processing
Options'.

Local fix

  • Entering the RESET command on related 'Set Processing Options'
panels will populate the fields from the options specified on
FMN0POPT/FMN2POPT.

Problem summary

* PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: When signing on to File Manager for     *
*                      the first time the options 'Use File    *
*                      Manager editor' and the VSAM Edit       *
*                      Sharing options are not set to the      *
*                      default values defined in the FMN0POPT  *
*                      module.                                 *

* RECOMMENDATION: Apply the provided PTF.                      *
