Error description

  • User is trying to create TEMPLATE using a File Manager batch
job using a very large copybook. It fails with ABENDB37-04 for
DDname FMNADATA on the compilation process. The copybook has
approximately 55,000 lines.

The temporary data set FMNADATA used by the compilers is not
large enough. The internal allocation parameters need to be
adjusted.

    



Problem conclusion


    

  • File Manager has been updated to increase the secondary
allocation parameter to avoid running out of space in the
FMNADATA data set.
