    ****************************************************************
A hazard existed in one of our internal hashtables if a
hashcode ever had its high bit set. This situation has not
occurred in the past, but the hazard was exposed when the
improved hashing algorith was introduced in Java as described
    in
    http://docs.oracle.com/javase/7/docs/api/java/util/HashMap.html.

Problem conclusion

  • The code has been corrected to handle this possibility.
The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in
the Websphere Application Server XML Feature V1.0.0.13. Please
refer to the Recommended Updates page for delivery
    information:
    http://www.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?rs=180&uid=swg27004980

Temporary fix

  • If this problem does arise (unlikely), regressing WebSphere
Application Server and/or the IBM XML code to an earlier
version may be an acceptable temporary workaround.
