Under certain circumstances an internal buffer may be freed
without clearing the associated buffer length field. If the
buffer pointer is used without first checking that the buffer is
valid, then an S0C4 abend may occur.

Problem conclusion

  • Processing has been amended to ensure the buffer is checked
    before use.
