Error description
Customer ran the GENJCL.CA GRPNAME() command and generated a CA JCL with a list of DB and purge time under the //SYSIN DD. Before the CA job execution, an IMS archive job completed and added one more SLDS to the end of PRISLD record. The new SLDS caused the selected purge time (in the CA DB0 card) invalid. When the CA job continued to execute, it issued DSP0715E to report the invalid purge time. We expect the message DSP0714I in this situation, not the message DSP0715E. .

MSGDSP0715E
Problem conclusion
GEN: KEYWORDS: *** END IMS KEYWORDS *** When the purge time for a full function database has changed since the CA JCL was generated due to a later image copy, new allocation, or an OLDS being archived, the determine purge time module is to retain the current purge time (to issue DSP0714I) and attempt to find an earlier purge time that matches the timestamp in the DB0 statement in the SYSIN. In this case, a full function database had a newer CIC and the logic was not allowing the previous CIC to be used.
