    ****************************************************************
The Sip Container employes Double Record Route mechanism that
is described in RFC 5658, it is used to deal with multi-homed
proxies by adding 2 Record-Route headers, one for each network
interface. In our case the problem occurs when incoming
message is considered to use multi-home when it actually
doesn't need to use this mechanism. The problem occured
because the messages were sent with "sips" secured scheme that
doesn't include transport parameter, this caused the container
to believe that it received the message over TCP but needs to
send the message via the default UDP transport. Thus the
container chose to employ the Double-Record Route mechanism
    without need.

Problem conclusion

  • When outgoing transport is evaluated we included a code path
that checks for "sips" secured scheme and evaluates it's
    tranport to TCP.
