Error description
Activating from a command line using the activate command with only the -g parameter like this: "activate -g" Results in an error something like this: "Unable to log in. This can be due to either mismatching product versions on your machine and the server, or to network problems..." When using that same "activate -g" command in version 5.6, it brings up an empty activate dialog box, but does not actually produce any error. So the error appears to be misleading and in the DDL topic "Activating Projects", the documentation for the activate command suggest that the other parameters are optional. Yet clearly activation does require more than the -g parameter to succeed.
