Error description

  • When using the RQM and ReqPro Integration, in the Associate
    Requirement Window, you try to expand a folder and you get an
    error:  'Failed to get RequisitePro server Package Information
    for Project'.
    
    This may be related to using Cross Project Views with the REST
    API Services.

    Users Affected:
    Users of Rational Quality Manager (RQM) with Rational
    RequisitePro integration associating requirements.
    
    Problem description:
    When using "Associate Requirement Window" RQM option and try
    to expand a RequisitePro folder, user get an error:  "Failed
    to get RequisitePro server Package Information for Project".
    

Problem conclusion

  • Code changes were added to RequisitePro (RQM integration)
    for validating views getting the package elements
    information, specifically where there are errors associated
    to views.The fix for this APAR was included in RequisitePro
    version 7.1.2.7 and 7.1.3.3.
