    Users Affected:
Users of Rational RequisitePro client for Web (RequisiteWeb)
using LDAP authentication who save requirements
modifications when external trace relationships exist.

    Problem Description:
When saving the requirement in RequisiteWeb there was a
problem handling the LDAP authentication for the external
project, unexpectedly losing the connection to the external
project and its traces. That disconnection during saving
    caused the trace deletion.

Problem conclusion

  • Code changes were added to RequisiteWeb to correctly
validate LDAP users and avoid authentication problems that
caused deleted external trace relationships when modifying
    requirements.

The fix for this APAR was included in RequisitePro version:
    7.1.2.7 and 7.1.3.3.
