Error description

  • You work with IBM SPSS Statistics 20.0.0.0 or 20.0.0.1 and
create large output files with lost of Pivot tables. You export
this output file as HTML file using the Output Export syntax
command (or via the File->export menu).
However, when you open the exported HTML file you notice that
often not all tables are exported, some of them are missing. If
you open the HTML file in an Editor you see that the HTML code
consists of different number of opening <TABLE and closing
    </TABLE> table tags.
Additionally there is often more than one <body> and <head>
section where there should be only one <head> and <body> section
    .

Local fix

  • Use the Output Management System (OMS) to capture the tables you
need directly to html format in an external file as they are
generated instead of exporting after they've been created. This
system uses a different export engine and appears to not have
the same problem as the Output Export syntax command.
