Local fix
Problem summary
Eventhough disabling the bitmap creation when requesting metrics, the hinting code creates a bitmap anyway. At extreme sizes this causes extreme memory allocations and results in incorrect font width value.
Problem conclusion
This defect will be fixed in: 1.4.2 SR13 FP12 . JVM is updated with Oracle bug fix 7124621 which avoid hinting when it is not required
