PM57357: problems defining Implementation/Specification Header

APAR status

• Closed as Permanent restriction.

Error description

• DescriptionBeginLine = ///
  is set.
  In the code every line in file header also contains the ///.
  To unset DescriptionBeginLine='' is not possible because of the
  Doxygen comments needed, e.g. for operations.
  
  Defect:
  when referencing another property in ImplementationHeader,
  ImplementationFooter, Specificationheader, SpecificationFooter
  by $?property? then the property DescriptionBeginLine must not
  be used, because when direclty entering a description in
  ImplementationHeader then also no additional characters are
  added.

  When the property CPP_CG::File::ImplementationHeader is set
  to the value of another property, then in the generated code
  every line in the header still contains the characters
  specified with the property
  CPP_CG::Configuration::DescriptionBeginLine.
  

Problem conclusion

• This is the expected behavior of these properties. The value
  of the property DescriptionBeginLine is used for any
  keywords in ImplementationHeader that represent multi-line
  properties. To work around this, you would have to put the
  complete text of the desired header in the value of the
  property ImplementationHeader.
