**************************************************************** * USERS AFFECTED: * **************************************************************** * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: * **************************************************************** * RECOMMENDATION: * **************************************************************** USERS AFFECTED: Users of Rational RequisitePro client for Web (RequisiteWeb) creating external trace relationships when user has read-only permission for the external requirement type. PROBLEM DESCRIPTION : When RequisiteWeb is storing revision information about the external trace relationship created, it asks for requirement type permission. Since user has read-only permission the external trace relationship is not created.
Problem conclusion
RequisiteWeb code was updated to ask for trace relationship permission instead of requirement type permission. The fix for this APAR was included in RequisitePro version 7.1.2.7 and 7.1.3.3.
