    USERS AFFECTED:
Users of Rational RequisitePro client for Web
(RequisiteWeb) creating external trace relationships when
user has read-only permission for the external requirement
    type.

    PROBLEM DESCRIPTION :
When RequisiteWeb is storing revision information about the
external trace relationship created, it asks for requirement
type permission. Since user has read-only permission the
external trace relationship is not created.

Problem conclusion

  • RequisiteWeb code was updated to ask for trace relationship
permission instead of requirement type permission.
The fix for this APAR was included in RequisitePro version
    7.1.2.7 and 7.1.3.3.
