APAR status

Error description

  • When displaying information on a file between the Non-VSAM Entry
Detail panel and the Display VTOC Data Set List panel, some
information is different.  For example, the blocksize's for the
file do not match.

* PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: An incorrect block size is being        *
*                      displayed when the INFO prefix command  *
*                      is issued against a data set in the     *
*                      Catalog Services Data Set List panel.   *

* RECOMMENDATION: Apply the provided PTF.                      *
****************************************************************
File Manager is extracting the information in the data set
information panel from the DSCB instead of from the LISTDSI
function.

Problem conclusion

  • File Manager will now display the correct information for a
data set when the INFO prefix command is issued.
