• If a single web container thread handling http session requests
  hangs, it can cause all threads to eventually hang when using a
  remote WebSphere eXtreme Scale HTTP session topology.

  WebSphere eXtreme Scale waits for all threads to
  complete before continuing new work. If one of the threads in
  the web container is unresponsive, no requests are initiated.
  

Problem conclusion

• The code has been updated to avoid waiting for an
  unresponsive thread.
