PM55156: SERVAID CICS TRACE FORMATTER DOES NOT FORMAT SOME VSAM RPL FUNCTION CODES CORRECTLY

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• CICS Trace Formatter does not handle VSAM RPL function codes
  for functions such as IDALKADD and IDALKREL.

  * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: The CICS trace formatter does not       *
  *                      correctly format the function code for  *
  *                      trace entry AP 0B77.                    *
  ****************************************************************
  * RECOMMENDATION:                                              *
  ****************************************************************
  The CICS Trace Formatter does not recognise all function codes
  for trace entry AP0B77. This can result in '???' being printed,
  instead of a valid RPL function code.
  

Problem conclusion

• Support is added to DFHAPTR5 for the following RPL function
  codes:
   RPLLKADD, RPLLKREL, RPLLKCD, RPLINQRC,
   RPLRETLK, RPLRECOV, RPLQUI, RPLEADD.
  Support is also added to trace entry AP 0B88 (AP0B88) to format
  the keywords from the plist, in order to match the behaviour of
  AP0B77. AP 0B89 (AP0B89) is also updated to format the response.
  Furthermore, support is added to format the RPLKENRQ bit from
  the RPL.
