Error description

  • From FM/DB2 panel 3.4 (Object List Utility), fill in the NAME
field and select Option Type 8. - Package.

Enter CBI in the selection field next to a versioned package on
the Application Packages panel (FMN2POLK).

The Bind Package panel (FMN2POKB) is presented but the COPY
VERSION field is not populated.

*                      a "COPY BIND" (CBI) line command is     *
*                      issued against a package displayed      *
*                      using the FM/DB2 Object List utility.   *
****************************************************************
* RECOMMENDATION: Apply the provided PTF.                      *
****************************************************************
An incorrect variable name is used when setting the COPYVER
value on the bind package panel, resulting in a null assignment.

Problem conclusion

  • File Manager DB2 component has been updated to correct the
problem.
