Error description

  • The binaries location field in the following panel will be
    incorrect in certain cases:
      Application Servers > serverName > Installed Applications >
      appName > Application Binaries
    .
    When browsing multiple app binaries locations, the first one
    will be correct, but the second and subsequent location fields
    will not be updated (i.e. the console will just display the
    value of the first app's binaries location).

    * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: The administative console Binaries      *
    *                      options panel is not updated            *
    *                      correctly when managing options from    *
    *                      the servers Installed Applications      *
    *                      panel.                                  *

    * RECOMMENDATION:                                              *
    ****************************************************************
    The administrative console was not loading the correct
    application binaries information when navigating from the
    servers Installed Applications panel.  It would use values
    that were already in the session rather than new ones.
    

Problem conclusion

  • Support has be modified to always read the latest values when
    loading the Application Binaries rather than possibly using
    stale data.
    
    APAR PM53678 is currently targeted for inclusion in Service
    Level (Fix Pack) 7.0.0.23 of WebSphere Application Server V7.0.
