  • When viewing a striped sequential dataset using File Manager, no
data is displayed.  When viewing this dataset using ISPF, data
is displayed.

File Manager is checking the DS1LSTAR and DS1TRBAL fields to
confirm that a data set is empty.  This test may not be valid
for a striped data set.
