  • FASTREXX is not recognizing a comma continuation followed
by a comment, causing excessive CPU time.

Problem summary

* PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: 1. FASTREXX is not used when a          *
*                      continued statement ends with a         *
*                      comment.                                *
*                      2. Intermittent ABEND0C4 when the first *
*                      statement is incomplete.                *
****************************************************************
* RECOMMENDATION: Apply the provided PTF.                      *
****************************************************************
1.File Manager was not detecting a continued statement correctly
when the comma was followed by a comment.
2 File Manager is trying to display a keyword it hasn't
processed yet when the first statement is incomplete.

    



Problem conclusion


    

  • File Manager has been corrected to use FASTREXX when a
continued statement ends with a comment.
File Manager has been corrected to report incomplete errors
on the first or subsequent statements correctly.
