PM51794: DQCI:If there are large number of QCI tasks configured on QCI Server,DOORS client takes long time to load the relevent task

Error description

  • Problem Description:

    If there are a large number of QCI tasks configured (the
    attached tdadmindata.xml has around 100), it will take a long
    time for a DOORS client to load the relevant tasks for this
    module.
    The greater number of tasks = longer time to load in DOORS
    
    To Reproduce
    In QCI create 100/200 tasks
    Open a DOORS client and attempt to load task info for a specific
    module.
    For the customer's attached tdadmindata.xml took around 5 min to
    load Task info.
    
    The problem is that QCI recursively checks the list of tasks in
    the tdadmindata.xml which when a DOORS client is used has to be
    passed from \DOORSTDIntegrationWebServices to DOORSTDIServices.
    Whereas in the QCI Admin console the information is loaded
    directly from DOORSTDIServices and takes less time
    
    Possible Workarounds
    Reduce the number of Tasks in QCI
    OR Perform synchs directly from QCI Admin console.
