Error description

Client fails to connect to a server when specifying
-Dcom.ibm.soap.CONFIGURL to a file other than
soap.client.props.

Local fix

Specify soap.client.props as file name.

Client fails to connect to a server when specifying
-Dcom.ibm.soap.CONFIGURL to a file other than
soap.client.props. Enable and inspect the trace during client
creation to see if the com.ibm.soap.CONFIGURL property is
being used and if the file name is not soap.client.props.

Problem conclusion

Code is fixed to not check the file name but instead use the
content of the file to determine if the properties are for a
SOAP or IPC connector.
The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in
fix packs 7.0.0.23 and 8.0.0.3. Please refer to the recommended
