Error description

  • When a process application fails to be uninstalled the
application is left is a state where it can't be stopped,
started or uninstalled. This is because the business-level
application (BLA) and composition unit (CU) for the application
are removed. These correspond to the BLAs and CUs folders
    under the config folder.
    -
    This is the scenario:
    1. You attempt to uninstall a process application.
    2. The BLA task runs before the WebSpere Process Server task.
The BLA task removes the BLA and CU.
    3. The WebSpere Process Server task fails the uninstall
expectly because the templates are active.
    CWWBF0025E: Process WFUUDemoFlowCarOrderingC40 of
    application WFUUDemoFlowCarOrderingC40App still has
instances. Terminate and delete all process instances
before updating or uninstalling a process application.
    4. You save the configuration.
    5. The application is still installed but without a BLA or CU
    for it.
    6. The application can not be stopped or started.
    7. The application can not be uninstalled.
