Error description
Problem in setting SIP contact parameters. The address returned when getting a contact address should be protected from certain changes. WebSphere Application Server V7.0. Distributed operating systems.
Local fix
Problem summary
**************************************************************** * USERS AFFECTED: All WebSphere Application Server SIP users * * * **************************************************************** * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: Application was not able to update the * * legal parts of a contact header, as * * according to JSR 289. The container * * would override the changes before * * sending a message out. * **************************************************************** * RECOMMENDATION: * **************************************************************** Changes made to the contact header by the application were not applied to the outgoing message
Problem conclusion
Code path fixed, so that a legally modified Contact header will only get the correct routing attributes from the container, without overriding the other parts, set by the application. Will be resolved in CEA fix pack 1.0.0.13
