Error description

• After applying FM maintenance, receive the following error
  when attempting to edit a VSAM dataset:
  
   A severe error occurred under dialog:
      Application : FMN
      Function  . : Module    FMNMAIN
      Service . . : VDEFINE
  Error message ID: ISPS107
  
  Followed by abend S0C4 in FMNMAIN.

  File Manager was incorrectly setting internal pointers used for
  verifying that the data updated has not been updated by another
  user when used from ISPF on a shared file, resulting in a
  VDEFINE failure.
  

Problem conclusion

• File Manager has been updated in order to correctly process
  record data comparison and display for shared files in an ISPF
  environment.
