PM47344: OPTIONS OR PRAGMAS WITH NO NAMESPACE PREFIX PRODUCED MISLEADING ERROR MESSAGE

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• The existing message said "A QName used in a query contains a
  namespace prefix that cannot be expanded into a namespace URI
  by using the statically known namespaces. Prefix '\{0\}' is
  undefined." To clarify what's actually wrong, we have appended
  additional text: "(Note that there is no default namespace for
  options or pragmas, so their QNames must have explicit
  prefixes.)

  QNames for XQuery Options or Pragmas must include a namespace
  prefix; there is no "default namespace" mechanism for these,
  and unqualified names are not permitted. Our existing error
  message did not help the user understand this mistake; it said
  "A QName used in a query contains a namespace prefix that
  cannot be expanded into a namespace URI by using the
  statically known namespaces. Prefix '' is undefined."
  

Problem conclusion

• We have appended additional text to clarify this nmessage:
  "(Note that there is no default namespace foroptions or
  pragmas, so their QNames must have explicit prefixes.) "
  
  The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in
  fix pack 1.0.0.11. Please refer to the Recommended Updates page
